Listen Out Loud Media Foundation Inc. (Listen Out Loud) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established with the purpose of empowering educational opportunities that help shape futures through impactful learning resources, engagement and dialogue.

We ensure that students, educators, and communities have access to inspiring content, speakers and resources regardless of financial barriers. We facilitate these key efforts to achieve this mission.

WHY WE DO IT

“I believe every student should have access to the same inspiring educational opportunities. Every child should attend a school that awakens their curiosity, makes them excited to learn, and helps them feel confident in themselves and hopeful about their future.

After seeing the extraordinary impact our speakers had on students, I confronted a painful truth: the young people who could benefit most from hearing someone say, ‘I was you. I have stood where you are standing,’ were often the least likely to have that opportunity because their schools and programs could not afford it.

I founded the Listen Out Loud Media Foundation because a school’s budget should never determine whether a young person has access to an experience that could change what they believe is possible for their life.”
